PVP Cinema, the production house behind the magnum opus Varna, will release in Telugu and Tamil in about 1200 theatres. In Andhra Pradesh alone they have got maximum number of theatres. Varna will be one of the biggest releases in recent times.

Speaking about the film Anushka Shetty says that Varna is the name of the character. It is not a period film; it is a romantic fantasy. In Tamil the film is known as Irandaam Ulagam which means 'A second world'.

Selvaraghavan has directed this film. The music is by Harris Jayaraj. Varna will come to theatres on the 22nd on November. Anushka Shetty has been paired with Arya in this film. The film got U certificate
